While walking to her office at the UN in Nepal, Lina AbiRafeh, an award-winning gender rights activist, aid worker and academic came across a piece of graffiti, that articulated something she had been trying to say her whole life. The graffiti read, "Start where you stand".

Lina often gets asked, "What can I do to help?" She says people don't know where to start. "Start where you stand" became her answer to this question. Lina tells people to occupy whatever space they have, whether that be an office space, social media, your home or somewhere else and make that space feminist.

Lina also believes you don't have to go far to do good. Saying that if we all do our bit, we could potentially change the world. These earrings are dedicated to this phrase and are green in colour to remind us that big problems can be solved with grassroots movements.
