Marsha P Johnson was a transwoman born Malcolm Michaels Jr in 1945. She was an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQI+ community and an absolute rebel force behind the Stonewall Riots. She died under mysterious circumstances in 1992.

Marsha loved pearls. She wore them every which way. As earrings, necklaces, tiaras or as part of her famous flower crowns. She created her crowns from flower cuttings she was given while sleeping homeless under the flower sorting tables in the Manhattan flower district in New York.

We chose blue, pink and white flowers for the top of our earrings to represent the transgender flag. A community shwas so proud to be a part of.
