Daemons and Genii Earrings

from A$20.00
Only 4 available
Only 5 available

In 2009, author Elizabeth Gilbert delivered a Ted talk, ‘Your Creative Genius’, in which she discussed the now radical idea that creativity comes to us, rather than being present within us.

She drew from her own research on Ancient Greeks, who believed in Daemons (a divinity or spirit neither good or evil between gods and humans), whilst Ancient Romans believed in Genii ( guardian spirits that are with a person from birth), as the ones that deliver creativity to people.

“Daemons” and “Genii” are just a fragment from this talk which left us wondering where our creativity really comes from.

Handmade and designed in Australia- slight natural variations will occur due to the handmade nature of our product.
