Frida Kahlo Keyring

A$15.00

Our Frida Kahlo keyrings are as adorable, as they are educational and practical.

Each key ring comes with a smiling Frida Kahlo token, a locket of charms based off some of her artworks and your choice of either a split ring keyring or a screw lock keyring.

Frida Kahlo was a Mexican born artist famous for her surreal and symbolic paintings. She spent a lot of her life in bed after a severe bus accident and it was here where she did a lot of her paintings. In the locket you will find 2 charms that represent her and her work.

- Flowers- Not only did Kahlo love her garden, but she also wore a lot of flowers in her hair. These flowers were then painted into her many self portraits including her work 'Dr Elosesser, 1940'.

- Cacti - As well as being part of the Mexican landscape, Frida Kahlo also had photographs of herself taken in front of cacti and also included them in paintings such as 'The Love Embrace of the Universe, the Earth, Myself, Diego and Senor Xolotl, 1949'.

Please note: Our keyrings are handmade and therefore slight variations will occur.
